The Flex Armor Advantages
Super Thick
Flex Armor roofs are 3 times thicker than other common options in the RV industry. This is enabled by Flex Armor’s 6 second gel time (dry to the touch), allowing it to be applied 187 mils (3/16”) thick. Compare that to typical RV roof materials (EPDM rubber, TPO and fiberglass) which are at most 30-60 mils thick. A thick roof also means a quieter roof that provides insulation in the cold.
No Caulking
All RVs, from the simplest travel trailers to the most luxurious coaches, have caulking. Caulking is applied around every vent, sewer fixture, awning rail, and both front and rear transition strips. No manufacturer offers a long-term warranty, and often by the time a leak is discovered, significant wood damage has occurred. We eliminate all those caulked seams and provide you with a seamless RV roof that doesn't require resealing.
Exclusive Product and Processes
When Flex Armor was introduced, there were scarcely any non-traditional options for RV roof replacement, with most being mere coatings applied over existing roofs. Flex Armor and its processes were developed by an individual with a background in the spray industry. In contrast to RV repair technicians who have since followed suit, our system is founded on a deep understanding and experience with coatings and their functionality.
